≪About Utazu Co-machi-no-ie≫

Utazu "Co-machi-no-ie" was established with the aim of revitalizing the region while passing on the history and culture of Utazu to future generations. We hope that those who use it will enjoy their stay as someone taking part in Utazu’s revitalization.

In addition, Co-machi-no-ie is an accommodation facility where guests can rent an entire house and stay freely, which is often not possible at a hotel or inn. Once you check in, the accommodation becomes your space. Stay in Utazu on your own accord.

  • There are a total of 2 accommodation buildings.
  • The buildings use a numerical combination lock system (Unlock by entering the pass code. Locking is done automatically).
  • All facilities including the bathroom, air conditioning, heating, and linen are modern.
  • The buildings are equipped with a kitchen with an induction cooktop and basic cooking utensils. With your own ingredients and condiments, you can prepare your own meals. However, please refrain from cooking food with lingering odors (grilling meat/fish etc.) and deep-fried food.
  • We offer catering service for those who wish to dine at the accommodation. Please see the Meals page. Advanced booking is required, so please let us know in the comment section when booking. We will reply after checking with our affiliated restaurants on whether your request can be accommodated.

≪Important notes≫

  • Check-in time is between 15:00 and 18:00 as a general rule. If you do not check in on time and fail to contact us, we may treat your booking as a No-show.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all rooms, including the garden.
  • Co-machi-no-ie is located in a residential area, and the two buildings, Rinsui and Sezan, are adjacent to each other. So please be considerate not to make noises that may disturb the surrounding residents and other guests in the adjacent building.
  • By law, we may not accept occupants beyond capacity. Occupants include infants and young children.
  • Guests can park up to one passenger vehicle per accommodation building booked. Additionally, we are not responsible for any accidents, thefts etc. in the parking lot.
  • Pets are not allowed. Please also refrain from keeping pets on a lead outside.
  • Payment can be made by cash or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, UnionPay). Please pay when you check in.

≪Guests staying two nights or more≫

  • No new sheets or cleaning are provided for guests staying 2 nights or less.
  • For guests staying 3 nights or more, please let us know in advance if you would like your sheets changed.

≪Lodging cancellation fee≫

In case of cancellation, a cancellation fee will be charged as follows:

  • No-show: 100% of your accommodation fee
  • On the date of check-in: 100% of your accommodation fee
  • 1 day prior to check-in date: 75% of your accommodation fee
  • 2 days prior to check-in date: 50% of your accommodation fee
  • 3 days prior to check-in date: 25% of your accommodation fee
  • 4-7 days prior to check-in date: 10% of your accommodation fee

≪How to check in≫

  1. Please come directly to your accommodation building, Rinsui or Sezan. Two parking lots (one for Rinsui guests and one for Sezan guests) are available next to Rinsui.
  2. A staff member will be waiting for you at your accommodation at your estimated arrival time.
  3. When the staff lets you inside, please complete the check-in procedure and pay the accommodation fee. Credit cards accepted for one-time payment (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, UnionPay)
  4. Check-in is completed after the staff finishes explaining how to use the facility.

【Estimated arrival time】

Please be sure to contact us in advance if your estimated arrival time changes from that which you indicated at the time of booking. If it is the date of check-in when you need to inform us of the change, please contact us by phone. (Co-machi-no-ie office TEL: 0877-85-6941) Check-in time is between 15:00 and 18:00.

≪How to check out≫

Please be sure to contact us by phone on the morning of your check out date and leave the accommodation building by 10 am. There is no need to meet face-to-face with a staff member at check-out. You may leave after confirming that you have not left anything behind, and confirming that the electronic numerical combination lock at the entrance is locked. In the unlikely event that something in the building becomes damaged during your stay, please inform us of the damage before checking out and a staff member will come over to assess the situation before you leave.

≪After-hours support≫

When you check in, we will provide you with the contact information of the staff member on duty, so if there is anything unclear or if there is an urgent matter after checking in, please contact the staff.
