Stay at “Co-machi-no-ie” and immerse yourself in the history and presence of Utazu.

Co-machi-no-ie is a rental accommodation facility located in the heart of the old part of Utazu Town ("co-machi" literally means old town) in the Ayauta District of Kagawa Prefecture, with two traditional machiya townhouses that may each be rented out entirely. We renovated these townhouses that were left vacant in order to pass down the history and culture of Utazu. Why not immerse yourself in the story of "Co-machi" where the old meets the new?

Utazu, located at the foot of the Great Seto Bridge, as a base for getting around Shikoku and the Setouchi region.

Utazu is a small town of about 8.1km2 located between the cities of Marugame and Sakaide. The Great Seto Bridge lies on the border of Utazu and Sakaide, and JR Utazu station is the first stop for trains on the Shikoku side after crossing over from Okayama. Yes, Utazu is the gateway to Shikoku.
So let your trip to Shikoku begin here.
